Join the fantastic inter-professional medical team in Quesnel and choose how you want to work and live. We have flexible practice options to fit your needs. The team is made up of dedicated medical professionals including 5-6 family physicians, 2 nurse practitioners and itinerant specialists who provide psychology, rheumatology, respirology and dermatology services. The Quesnel Primary Care Clinic (QPCC) is a training site for UBC medical, NP and RN students.
Clinic hours are Mon-Fri, 9:00-5:00pm. This position will provide full service family practice as well as inpatient services at GR Baker Memorial Hospital.
The team would love to add a family practitioner who would be interested in providing Intrapartum Obstetrics, FP Anesthesia, FP Oncology (training funding available), surgical assists, OAT clinic shifts (training funding available) however these are optional.
We welcome NEW to practice physicians and have several supports available to ensure that your transition into the community and practice is as smooth and as enjoyable as possible.

GR Baker Memorial Hospital is a 45 bed acute care facility. Services on-site include:
- Internal medicine
- Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Otolaryngology
- General Surgery
- Psychiatry
- Community Cancer Clinic
The 27 million dollar expansion to GR Baker Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit has now been completed and is open to the public. This expansion has improved patient flow, access to imaging and labs, security, privacy & confidentiality, and the alignment of critical care services and staff between the ED and ICU.
