Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Critical Care Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be certified with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and have additional training and a demonstrated interest in medical education. This role involves providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the ongoing education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research activities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in critical care medicine
Qualifications:
- Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Critical Care Medicine
- Additional training and demonstrated interest in medical education
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
