Role and Facility Information
Northern Health is seeking a Family Physician with full-scope skills/experience to join a well-established, full-scope Family Medicine clinic in Fort St John BC, a young and growing community!
The expected commitment is 4 days/week (32 hours) in the clinic/office as well as hospital inpatient work and ER coverage. Clinic compensation is Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) model for clinic + inpatient work, and Fee for Service for ER shifts (8 hour shifts, up to 6 shifts per month).
Other Fee For Service income opportunities include:
• Surgical assists (1-2 per month)
• Anesthesia shifts (if qualified)
• Maternity
Fort St. John Hospital is a new state-of-the art 55 bed hospital and 123 bed residential care facility serving a population of approximately 25,000 and a catchment area of approximately 70,000. The Emergency Room sees 25,000+ visits per year.
