Clinic Details:
With a steadfast commitment to the health and wellness of the 85,000 residents across the region, Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH) guarantees personalized and comprehensive care for each member of our community. We provide gynecologic coverage and consultative obstetrical care. Our four bed NICU is able to support babies 34+0 weeks and up. As a low volume centre, our skilled Family practice colleagues and 1 midwife provide the majority of intrapartum care. Our group has 2-3 OR days per week and we have the opportunity to pick up extra days. We operate as a team, so you will always have a skilled gynecologic surgeon as your assistant. With a recent generous donation from an angel donor, we have upgraded our surgical equipment, including 4D laparoscopes, myosure, Vnotes, airseal, novasure and more!
Our regional centre has well-rounded specialist coverage including obstetrics & gynecology, general surgery, urology, pediatrics, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, orthopedic surgery, psychiatry, oncology, internal medicine, and ICU.
We share a beautiful newly renovated office space only a few minutes drive from the hospital.
We routinely work with UBC family medicine residents and medical students and we welcome visiting Ob/Gyn residents from various programs.

The regional hospital in Trail, BC, is looking for a fourth Ob/Gyn to join the team.
The location is perfect for sports enthusiasts with world class mountain biking trails, golf courses and a stone’s throw to Red Mountain Resort, one of the best ski mountains in Canada. We are excited to add enthusiastic and hardworking obstetricians to our team at KBH.
