Role and Facility Information
We are seeking family physician locums to join our team. This is a flexible opportunity designed to suit your preferred scope and schedule, in a supportive rural practice setting. There is also opportunity for this to be a permanent position if you are interested in a practice share.
Practice Structure
o 3 - 5 clinic days per week
• Approx. 50% in-person / 50% virtual or phone visits (you can choose)
o 1 ER shift per week (optional)
• Typically Sunday night or alternating Monday afternoon
o Minimal inpatient care (optional)
• Usually ~1 patient to see in the morning
o DOD shifts available (optional)
• Pay $1500 stipend per shift + LFP codes for people you see
Note: This schedule is fully customizable based on your preferences.
Flexibility
As a locum, you have full control over your schedule and scope:
• Choose number of clinic days
• Set appointment lengths (e.g., 10, 15 or 20-minute visits)
• Opt in/out of ER and inpatient responsibilities
• Customize workload and pace
Compensation & Benefits
o Eligible for Rural GP Locum Program (RGPLP)
• Travel funding available
•Accommodation will be available early summer 2026
o Overhead: 15%, capped proportionally
• Full monthly overhead ~ $6,000 ie if you are here for 2 weeks overhead capped at $3000
o 100% of uninsured/private billings retained
• (e.g., WCB, ICBC, driver’s medicals, forms)
