The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Medical Health Officer, you will join a team working to improve the health and wellbeing of a diverse population of approximately 916,000 people.

Based on Vancouver Island, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to practice complex Public Health medicine in urban and rural centres.
Cultural Safety and Indigenous Health
Island Health is committed to culturally safe care that respects the health and wellness beliefs, practices, customs and ceremonies of First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples.
The MHO recognizes the inherent rights and title of Indigenous Peoples to govern themselves and act as decision makers.
