The small village community of Winlaw is nestled in the picturesque Slocan River Valley in southwestern British Columbia. The surrounding mountains, rivers and lakes provide a wide variety of recreational opportunities. Winlaw is close to two of the province’s major mountain wilderness parks, Valhalla and Kokanee Glacier. The primary industry in the Slocan Valley and Winlaw area is forestry, but tourism continues to grow with community ski hills, destination spas and accommodations in the area.
