Pemberton is located 35 kilometres north of Whistler in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia. Known for its surrounding rich farmlands, and particularly for the production of seed potatoes, Pemberton has been affectionately called “Spud Valley” by locals. While agriculture and forestry have been the mainstay of the economy, tourism is fast becoming the primary economic activity. With access to some of the most breathtaking and spectacular backcountry, Pemberton has developed into a year-round outdoor recreation destination and is one of the fastest growing communities in B.C.
