Role and Facility Information
The Central Interior Rural Division is seeking a passionate, Part Time Long Term Care Physician to provide direct comprehensive care to Long Term Care facility residents in Williams Lake. The position will provide full-scope health care services for LTC residents of multiple facilities with specialized and complex needs. This position would be supported by a Long-Term Care call group as well as on site medical staff including nurses within the LTC facilities.
The Central Interior Rural region has many physicians, nurse practitioners and medical staff who enjoy working in our Northern Communities of Williams Lake and 100 Mile House. Currently our LTC group consist of 5 providers which cover all the Long Term Care patients in Williams Lake, we are expanding our opportunities to Family Physicians and Nurse practitioners. We have 3 LTC facilities all within 5 mins drive from each other. LTC also comes with an incentive which covers a day rate of approx. $225.00/day for every on call that the division will send to you monthly (23rd of next each month). Payment options could be FFS or the longitudinal Family Physician payment model.

This position offers:
Collaborative working relationship with other health care practitioners including self employed Physicians and Nurse Practitioners.
A Primary Care Network (PCN) of team-based care resources for referral support and consultation, including Social Workers, a Respiratory Therapist, a Clinical Pharmacist, a Mental Health and Substance Use clinician and more to come
A balanced weekday, daytime hour schedule
A call-group to support your LTC patients after hours
