Come work as a Primary Care Medical Director with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

The Primary Care Medical Director, in partnership with operational/administrative leader(s), is responsible for managing the strategic integration, health human resource issues, and quality measures of various primary care services in the Richmond Community, while also providing medical leadership and strategic direction to ensure high-quality and effective delivery of medical services within an academic, research, and client-centered environment. They will have coordination and oversight of multiple community primary care and integrated Acute transition services involving but not limited to: Elder Care which includes interventional teams for community transfers from hospital, home health, Alternative Level of Care (ALC) patients and Quick Response Team (QRT) transitions, Personalized Support & Stabilization Team Plus (PSS+), Community Patient in Acute Team (CPAT), Rapid Response Primary Care Community Clinics and Longitudinal Primary Care Clinics. They will help provide medical knowledge and leadership to the operational and medical team, participates in planning, and collaborates in setting and implementing strategic direction as well as being accountable to overall quality, staffing and education targets. They will develop quality improvement strategies for relevant processes in transitions.

This will be an Administrative Leadership Contract for 1-3 year term with opportunity for renewal. Please note this position is permanent part-time, 0.4 FTE.
