Role and Facility Information

A group hybrid family practice/walk-in clinic in South Vancouver is looking for walk-in and family practice physicians for their busy clinic.

Seven exam rooms (each with its own computer and printer) and 5 FT/PT GPs (usually 3 on shift at any given time). The space is also shared by an internist, physiotherapist, and massage therapist. The clinic sees patients from all demographics, including young families, immigrants, children, and elderly. The clinic does not prescribe oxycodone or methadone.

It is very busy, being open 7 days/week and seeing up to 50 patients per shift. There is ample free and reserved staff parking available, and the clinic is prepared to offer a negotiable 70/30 split.

There are usually 2 MOAs on staff at a given time, and physicians serving the walk-in clinic are able to book their own shifts autonomously through a website and dictate their own schedule. They have space for one full-time GP who would like to start up their patient panel, as well as ongoing walk-in shift locum needs.

Split: 70/30 negotiable

Note: This clinic is open to accepting full-time Family Doctor’s that are interested in the new Primary Care Network APP Contracts or the Fee-for-service remuneration model.
