Come work as a Gynecologist - BC Centre for Vulvar Health with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

The Department of Gynecology, Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking applications for a part-time gynecologist. The successful applicant will work two days a week (0.4 FTE) in ambulatory clinics at the BC Centre for Vulvar Health (BCCVH) located in the Gordon & Leslie Diamond Healthcare Centre.

As a Gynecologist - BC Centre for Vulvar Health with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will:
• The successful applicant will provide services in the various clinics at the BCCVH including vulvar diseases, vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia, vulvar pain and sexual medicine.
• Expertise and further knowledge in chronic vulvar pain, sexual medicine, lower genital tract dermatology, colposcopy and vulvar surgery would be considered assets for this position. If the applicant does not have formal training, the department will provide the opportunity for the candidate to gain knowledge and develop further expertise in the field through our advanced training program.
• Job sharing will be considered.
• The incumbent will report to the Site Department Head of Gynecology at Vancouver General Hospital.
• The successful candidate will apply for a clinical faculty appointment with University of British Columbia, Division of Gynecological Specialties. They will be expected to participate in educational and research obligations related to the BCCVH.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:
• Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) – Full
• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)- Mandatory
• Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
