Position Summary
Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) has an immediate permanent full-time Physiotherapist opening. Days of work are rotating and shift times are 07:30-15:30 and 08:00-16:00. This position caseload covers acute care units at KGH and works one out of five weekends.
Applicable positions may qualify for up to $15,000 as a recruitment incentive

About the position:
Physiotherapists play a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to patients and/or their caregivers. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.
KGH is a tertiary referral hospital and offers high-level, specialty medical care including 24 hour emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic/paramedical services. Specialty services include adult and adolescent psychiatry, outpatient nutrition, patient care quality officers, and cardiac surgery.

Qualifications
• Full registration as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC)
• Valid BC Driver’s license where required
