This Hospital Ophthalmology group is seeking an Ophthalmologist with specialty training in Glaucoma to join their team.
Come be part of the dynamic group that includes retina, cornea, glaucoma, pediatric/strabismus, and neuro-ophthalmology subspecialists. As the newest member of the team you will be performing surgeries at the Kelowna General Hospital (1x OR day per week) and which includes a compliment of nursing and anesthesia staff to accommodate surgical time.
The practice will include community based practice with approximately 4 days of OR access per month. As part of the Ophthalmology team you will share an equal share of regional-call and have the opportunity to join an existing medical practice or open up your own private practice.
You will be part of a rapidly growing Department of Medicine helping to serve the fastest growing community in the Interior. There are opportunities for involvement in teaching in the UBC Department of Medicine if desired in addition to other creative professional activities.

For a full-time position, we offer up to $9,000 in assistance if moving within BC, up to $12,000 within Canada, and up to $15,000 from outside Canada. Please note incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.
