You would be joining a division that currently has subspecialties in Head & Neck Oncology, Laryngology, Facial Plastics, Allergy and Otology, as well as a highly collaborative Plastic Surgery Division. The Interior Health Cancer Centre is located at KGH, with team of Head & Neck Radiation Oncologists locally, as well as weekly H&N tumour boards provincially.
Surgical resources are shared equally and include weekly minor surgery time (1/2 day) and at minimum one dedicated OR day per week, plus additional OR time weekly (including pick up time, extra oncology allocation time and collaborative OR time with plastics). Average of 2+ days per week.
Due to the nature of the region, each division member will be expected to participate in adult and pediatric general ENT coverage for Central Okanagan and beyond.
