Opportunity Details:
A unique 6-month opportunity is available for a family physician to provide maternity leave coverage in the beautiful rural community of Princeton, BC. This is a full-scope family practice with 24-hour emergency coverage (1-in-6 rotation). The position is ideal for new grads or experienced physicians looking for flexible, high-reward work without a long-term contract commitment.

Practice Details:
- Solo physician panel of ~500 well-managed patients
- EMR: Med Access
- Support from experienced MOAs and a Primary Care Network team including RN, social worker, and physiotherapist
- 1-in-6 24h ER shifts with excellent nursing support and strong physician backup culture (average 16–18 patients per shift)
- Inpatient rounding is minimal (average 1 admitted patient per week)
- Long-term care panel of 6–8 patients
- Overhead paid out of locum’s earnings
- No hospital rounds unless you have an inpatient
- Locum responsible for housing (assistance available with finding rental accommodation)

Compensation:
- Estimated total earnings: $350,000+ for 6 months
- Includes full MSP billings, 15.23% rural uplift, and rural longitudinal bonuses
- Full income goes to locum—100% take-home
- Based on 2–3 clinic days/week plus ER call
- Additional income potential if choosing to work more
