We are looking for a .5 or 1.0 physician to join our Sun Peaks clinic.

STEPS Sun Peaks Health Centre is located in the magnificent resort community of Sun Peaks. Sun Peaks is unique with a local population, migrant workers, and guests living, playing, and enjoying the best BC has to offer in resort recreation!



Family Physicians will have dedicated MOA support to assist with all administrative and clinical needs. Our team handles all operational and administrative supports, giving you the freedom to focus on delivering the highest quality of care without the stress of managing clinic logistics. At STEPS, we believe that by taking care of our team, we create an environment where patients receive the best care possible.



What You Can Expect:

Our team is growing, and we are looking for a Family Physician to join us in delivering innovative community health services. What You Will Do:

Clinical Responsibilities:

Provide family medicine and urgent care services for locals, migrant workers, and guests in the resort.
Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and health outcomes.
Deliver care in-clinic and through telehealth.
Utilize a trauma-informed, culturally safe approach when working with marginalized populations.
Support preventative care initiatives, chronic disease management, and mental health care.
Team Collaboration:

Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.
Qualifications:

Licensed and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
Certified with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) (or equivalent).
2+ years of experience in a community-based, team-based primary and urgent care setting preferred.
2+ years of experience living and working in a rural community preferred.
Strong commitment to team-based care and health equity.
Working Conditions:

The Family Physician will work in-clinic at STEPS Sun Peaks Health Centre
Flexible scheduling options are available within the clinic’s hours of operation
Weekend shifts are required
