Join our team in a regional role that offers the best of both worlds: the flexibility to work on-site in Trail or remotely, with the opportunity to visit Nelson for a day or two, once or twice a month, ensuring a dynamic professional experience and a balanced lifestyle.
We offer an extensive variety of sophisticated medical imaging services to promote the well-being of the community. Besides your time at KBRH and KLH, your skills will be invaluable to Castlegar and District Community Health Centre, Grand Forks’ Boundary District Hospital, Slocan Community Health Centre, and Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care across the region.
Our commitment to exceptional care is demonstrated by our plans to build a brand new MR suite, which is in the final stages of planning. We have two CTs at KBRH and KLH, along with four centres equipped for ultrasound imaging. With basic interventional radiology, a dedicated diagnostic mammography centre, nuclear medicine capabilities, and bone densitometry, we offer comprehensive services to our patients. You’ll leverage cutting-edge technology and resources to provide top-tier imaging services.
Our facilities serve as a learning environment as well, with medical students and residents rotating through KBRH and the surrounding region. Beyond moulding the minds of tomorrow’s healthcare professionals, we also promote engagement in projects centred around enhancing Physician Quality Improvement (PQI), backed by support from Doctors of BC. With RCME, you’ll be eligible to receive $600 for up to 2 years in Trail, $3,600 during your 3rd and 4th year, and $6,600 after 4 years, in addition to the Doctors of BC CME funds. Rural incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.
