In this role, you'll be at the heart of medical care, tending to a wide spectrum of patient needs. From managing acute ailments to chronic conditions, you'll be the key physician during their hospital stay, creating intricate treatment plans, interpreting diagnostic insights, prescribing medications, and making crucial medical decisions. Collaboration is key here, as you'll work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nurses, specialists, surgeons, and allied healthcare professionals, all aimed at providing comprehensive patient care. Navigating complex medical situations, often involving multiple comorbidities, will be your expertise, vital for making timely decisions during critical emergencies. Your day to day will include these essential tasks.
Your active participation in transitioning patients through various care phases, engagement in initiatives that uplift care quality, involvement in medical education endeavours, and steadfast advocacy for patients' medical needs. These activities will collectively enhance the overall patient care quality and continuity of their healthcare journey. - Experience the peace of mind that comes with a guaranteed income of $314,795 through an APP clinical service contract, along with MOCAP level 2, prorated for part-time positions.

With RCME, you’ll be eligible to receive $440 for up to 2 years in Trail, $2,640 during your 3rd and 4th year, and $4,840 after 4 years, in addition to the Doctors of BC CME funds. Rural incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at the time of offer.
