A Family Physician with Enhanced Anesthesia Skills opportunity exists in Creston BC!
Family Physicians share after hour coverage, with approx. 1:11 ER MOCAP funded call/shifts at the Creston Valley Hospital (CVH), allowing for optimal work/life balance. Excellent clinical support is provided within the Creston medical community in a most collegial atmosphere.
CVH is a 20-bed Acute Care Hospital with 24-hour on call physician emergency services. Acute patient services include Surgery, Medicine, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Dialysis. Diagnostics are provided through imaging, ultrasound and lab. Support services are provided through pharmacy, dietary, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. Visiting specialists provide consultation to Creston patients or residents. These include General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Ears/Nose/Throat (ENT), Neurology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Radiology, Urology and Gastroenterology. The hospital operates a General Practitioner Surgical Day Program that includes Day Procedures and C-Sections.
