Practice Details:
We are looking for a 5th Physician to join our practice.
We are a friendly and flexible group that share an office with 8 exam rooms and 1 telehealth room with a three-physician workspace for Admin. We use MedAccess and are paperless within the office. Our clinic is bright with natural light and we are located on the ground floor for easy access.
Our exceptional MOA team is able to work in a very fast-paced environment; our MOAs handle our daily tasks efficiently and on time with ease, and maximize each day with very efficient booking and workflow systems. Our MOAs assist our patients and physicians so that everyone’s needs are taken care of in a timely, compassionate manner. We have also implemented an online booking platform for our patients. We also have one part-time in-house LPN and two virtual LPNs.
Our Office Manager bills for us as a private and separate arrangement and oversees all CDM billing/reports to make sure we maximize our billing potential.
Each physician has their own patient panel and clinic schedule, which is negotiable, but we help each other out when on leave, though we have always enjoyed good locum support as well.
We care for our patients in two residential care facilities. We are 30 minutes from Penticton Regional Hospital with excellent specialist services which are very supportive of family practice and there is an active local “Division of Family Practice” engaged in improving community primary care systems.
Flexible work schedule with 2 in-office and 2 virtual for a 4 day week. The physicians work together in a call group for in-patient rounds and to facilitate time off.
Additional Opportunities: rural emergency room at South Okanagan General Hospital, Walk in Clinic Shifts at Osoyoos Indian Band, and Doctor of the Day rotation (approx. 1 weekend every 5 months).
Recreate – and live in the heart of our sunny South Okanagan wine country - where lifestyle and rewarding medical practice combine perfectly. Oliver is a lovely town in the south close to the USA border, with a rich agricultural history, fabulous wineries, golfing, sandy beaches. Our pristine lakes and mountains provide endless opportunity to explore and enjoy water sports, road cycling, mountain biking, one of the top rated climbing destinations, three world class ski hills, cross country ski areas, and so much more.
