The Cranbrook UPCC is part of the East Kootenay (EK) Primary Care Network (PCN) a collaborative partnership between the EK Division of Family Practice, Interior Health, and the Ktunaxa Nation. The Cranbrook UPCC will operate within ʔamakʔis Ktunaxa, the homeland of the Ktunaxa people.
The target population for the Cranbrook UPCC will be a general population with services that span the care continuum. The service model comprises of:
• Longitudinal full service primary care for patients attached to the UPCC. These services will be provided during regular business hours 08.30-17.00, 5 days a week.
• Urgent and Episodic Primary Care for the general population. Urgent and episodic care will be provided from 08.30-20.00 on weekdays and 09.30-20.00 on weekends and public holidays.
Balance and flexibility is important so come a join the team at the Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) in Cranbrook either part-time or full-time depending what works with your schedule.
The UPCC team consists of family physicians, nurse practitioners (NPs), registered nurse team lead, primary care registered nurses (RNs), social workers (SWs), medical office assistants (MOAs), and a dedicated operational manager. The team will focus on members of the general population with non-life threatening illnesses or injuries who need access to same-day care, including those who are unattached.
