In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive medical services across all stages of life, managing acute conditions, chronic illnesses, and complex care needs with a personalized, patient-centered approach.
In this role you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals to develop tailored treatment plans that truly make a difference. Your expertise and empathy will help guide patients through their recovery journeys, improving outcomes and quality of life. Working a standard 8-hour shift, you'll engage with an average of 14–18 inpatients per rotation.
As part of our hospitalist program, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with UBC’s Faculty of Medicine, where you can choose to integrate teaching and mentorship into your clinical practice. This flexible option allows you to enrich your professional experience by blending patient care with medical education - offering a dynamic and fulfilling path for those interested in academic involvement.

- Estimated Remuneration
- For a full time hospitalist, anticipate an annual base income of $336,168.00 or $200.10/ hour + MOCAP Level 2. Up to an additional 40% is also available with group contract incentives.

With RCME, you’ll be eligible to receive $1,320 for up to 2 years in Cranbrook, $3,520 during your 3rd and 4th year, and $5,720 after 4 years, in addition to the Doctors of BC CME funds.
