Northern Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the team at the Terrace Health Unit. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide longitudinal primary care to patients of all ages in a supportive, community-based setting. The NP will attach a patient panel and is eligible for financial incentives through the Provincial Attachment System via NPBC.
The role is well-integrated within the clinic and supported by a collaborative team, including public health staff and administrative support. The clinic uses C-MOIS Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for documentation and care coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Provide longitudinal primary care to a diverse patient population across the lifespan.
Attach patients per the Provincial Attachment System (NNPBC).
Use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for documentation and clinical workflows.
Collaborate with public health staff and other team members to support patient care.
Participate in team-based care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Eligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a Nurse Practitioner.
Strong background in primary care.
Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Commitment to culturally safe and trauma-informed care.

Salary Range:
New Graduate NP - $149,382
1 Year Experience - $156,851
2 Years Experience - $164,320
