Practice Details:
We have an amazing FPA locum opportunity where you can tailor your own locum experience! You can choose flexible dates throughout July, August, and September, and we welcome both full-time and part-time availability. This flexibility allows you to indulge in Nelson's abundant outdoor recreational options, such as hiking, biking, golfing, or water sports.

Kootenay Lake Hospital currently has 4 FPA’s working two-four elective OR slates per week and 1:3 to 1:4 call coverage which is paid at the highest tier of Provincial on-call reimbursement. We have the busiest Obstetric program in the region with 300+ deliveries per year. GP office work is also available.

Compensation is either FFS or the provincial anesthetic contract rate. Travel and accommodation costs may be covered through the rural locum program if you are registered.
