This opportunity is to provide neonatal on-call coverage in beautiful Powell River. There is also an opportunity to coverage the physician’s regular family practice clinic.

We are seeking a general practitioner with particular interest and skill set in neonatal care. This urgent locum coverage has the opportunity to transition to a permanent position.

Powell River Hospital is developing a new and exciting full service perinatal program with the local support and collaboration of our obstetrician/gynecologist, family doctors, midwifery, nursing, and lactation consultation. Although the expectation would be neonatal call, there is also the option to cover general family practice/hospitalist work.

Compensation
Combination – service contract (neonatal call) and Fee for service/LFP for clinic work also.
This locum opportunity qualifies for up to $1,000 of travel and/or accommodation reimbursement.
