Role and Facility Information

Bring your clinical expertise and passion to a rewarding role as a Nurse Practitioner within the Primary Care Network (PCN) in Chilliwack. The PCN in Chilliwack is a partnership between the Ministry of Health, Fraser Health Authority and the Chilliwack Division of Family Practice. We are working together to transform the way that primary health care is delivered in our community by creating an integrated, collaborative community-based system for health that supports wellness and care.
We are seeking Nurse Practitioners with an interest in working a community practice with other primary care providers. Nurse Practitioners in our PCN also have access to a team of interdisciplinary supports including counsellors, social workers, primary care clinical pharmacists, a chronic disease team (nursing, physiotherapist, dietician, and occupational therapist) and a traditional wellness mentor to support their patients.
Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. NPs on PCN contracts can expect remuneration between $150,000-160,000 depending on experience.

• A broad scope of practice that includes vulnerable population outreach and longitudinal primary care.
• We offer peer support through a local NP network as well as regular social, wellness and educational events for Division members.
• A strong emphasis is placed on continued education as well as teaching and mentoring opportunities for NP students.
Are you motivated to join us? We will be looking for you to have:
• Current provisional/practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
• Relevant, clinical nursing experience
• Current provisional/practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
