Surrey is one of the largest industrial centres within British Columbia, with a growing high technology, clean energy, advanced manufacturing, health care, education, agriculture, film/television, and arts sector. Home to over 570,000 residents with a population projected to increase by more than 267,000 over the next 26 years.
Surrey is one of Canada’s fastest growing cities and its land mass makes it one of the largest cities in the province, equal to the size of Vancouver, Richmond and Burnaby combined. Known as the City of Parks, Surrey has over 6,000 acres of parkland and 15 golf courses and driving ranges. Also, despite rapid growth, Surrey has held onto the rural flavour of its past, with about 35 per cent of its land designated as agricultural and still actively farmed.
This is a great opportunity for a new Nurse Practitioner to join a well supported fellowship program to help consolidate clinical skills. Be part of our clinical enhancement program with regular in-house skills development such as suturing and x-ray interpretation in addition to receiving centralized NP orientation.
